Project scope included moving the DCS of the Degasser from Foxboro to Allen Bradley PLCs by first moving just the I/O and then moving the logic to RSLogix and converting the graphics to InTouch.
2017 - Major Steel Producer in Northwest Indiana - Burner Management System Upgrade and Forney Replacement
Project scope included replacing existing Forney cabinets with new Allen Bradley PLCs and upgrading HMI to PanelView.

Project scope included a complete control system upgrade of two (2) Vacuum Degasser Preheaters with new HMI and new Burner Management System (BMS) and Combustion Control System (CCS).

Project scope included new Boiler Control System (BCS) and Burner Management System (BMS) for two (2) natural, gas-fired 150,000 PPH steam boilers.

Project scope included new Redundant ControlLogix Burner Management System (BMS) for two (2) fluidized-bed coal fired 400,000 PPH steam boilers.
2015 / Present - Major Steel Producer in the Birmingham Area - Continuous Improvement of Reheat Furnace Control
Project scope included refurbishing of furnace devices Level 0, upgrading the control strategy and flame safety systems on four (4) reheat furnaces in the plant. This includes the Bloom Reheat Furnace, Tube Reheat Furnace, Austenitizing Furnace and the Tempering Furnace. We utilized the existing GE PLC and Fire-Eye flame safety to provide major upgrades to the control strategy of each furnace.
2014 / 2015 - Major Steel Producer in Northwest Indiana – IH4 Blast Furnace & Stove Controls DCS & PLC
Project scope included the phased migration of legacy Foxboro IA DCS and Modicon PLC to Rockwell Automation ControlLogix Redundant Controllers including a Furnace Control System (FCS), a Data Acquisition System (DAQ) and Furnace Safety System (FSS).
