Steam Utilization Solutions
There is no need to waste energy at a pressure reducing valve (PRV) station when you can depressurize steam much more efficiently. Using a method, called extraction, steam energy can be used in one section of a plant with the intent of creating excess energy at the exact depressurized level needed elsewhere. This process has the potential to turn a boiler plant into a profit/loss center, where a formula for producing steam can work as efficiently as possible. With a steam extraction system, steam is used to its greatest ability and no energy is needlessly lost.
