Raw Score = 56 points

Total entries for all competitions = 17

Net Score = 56 X (11/17) = 36.24

EXAMPLE 2

5) 1st Place = 40 points

4) 2nd Place = 16 points

8) 3rd Place = 16 points

Raw Score = 72 points

Total entries for all competitions = 39

Net Score = 72 X (19/39) = 35.08

OTHER RULES

1 . Only the highest place beer per numbered category will be used for Raw Score points.

2 . All ribbon winning entries will be used to calculate winning percentage.

3. Participating competitions may use the style guidelines of their choice.

4. Not all styles listed here will be available at every competition.

5. There is a combined 10 unique style entry minimum to be eligible for the award.

6. An entrant must have entries in at least 3 participating contests.

7. Only residents of MI, OH, IN, IL, WI, MO, KS, NE, ND, SD, IA, and MN are eligible.
