Mark V. Urda
President of Synergy Systems Inc. Mark is an electrical engineer with emphasis in computers and controls and studied at the
University of Notre Dame. Since his graduation in 1975, Mark has been involved in
technical sales of industrial control hardware and systems. Prior to the company’s
founding, Mark worked as a Sales Engineer with Leeds & Northrup, as a National Sales
Manager with Agar Instrumentation and as a manufacturer’s representative at the L. K.
Richards Company. Under Mark’s leadership, Synergy Systems Inc. has grown from a one
person operation to a multi-million dollar organization operating out of four offices. In
addition to the day to day management of general business matters, Mark is actively
involved in the management, system sales, E&C market coverage and technical support of sales engineers in all locations.

Shane Coombs
Shane
Coombs has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry.
Before joining Synergy in 1988, Shane worked in various sales positions. Shane’s
territory is the South west section of Illinois and Eastern Iowa, which has Interstate 88
as a northern boundary, Iowa Rt. 63 as a western boundary, Interstate 57 as an eastern
boundary and extending south to the Peoria and Decatur area. A significant portion of
Illinois petrochemical industry and corn sugar industries are located in this territory.
Shane is also responsible for Nalco Chemical corporate headquarters in Naperville, and is
involved in Nalco operations throughout the world.

Bob Krilich
Robert Krilich has been with the company since 1988. Bob has a Bachelor and a
Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to
Synergy, Bob worked in the steel industry both as an employee at Inland and later at
United States Steel, and as a consultant to the steel industry. Bob’s territory is
the four counties of Northwest Indiana, which contains a large industrial base, and is the
most productive steel producing region in the country.

Tim Millard
Tim Millard is responsible for customer support, inside technical sales, production
management and field sales at Synergy Systems. Tim joined Synergy Systems Inc. in 1996. He
has a B.A. in History from Aurora University in addition to a diploma in Electronics from
Mid-Valley Vocational College. Tim has been working in the industrial control marketplace
since 1977 and has experience in both production management and field sales.

Joe Zawicki
Joe Zawicki operates the Cleveland office of Synergy Systems Inc. Joe received
his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kent State University. For the
majority of his career, Joe was involved in technical sales for Bailey Meter Company, and
later as a manufacturers' representative. In order to better capitalize on the
company’s success in the steel market, the Cleveland sales office was opened, and Joe
was hired to develop this potential market. The territory supported by the Cleveland
office includes western Pennsylvania with special focus on USX corporate, R&D and Mon
Valley Works, northern Ohio, home of LTV corporate, R&D, and Cleveland Works. Further
to the south, Joe also covers the eastern Michigan offices of Rouge Steel, McLouth and
Great Lakes Steel.
